The
Belgian Prime Minister Mr. Charles Michel, Vice President of Beijing SDL
Technology Co., Ltd, and the Belgian company (Orthodyne S.A.) is proud to lead
a merger agreement signed in the Embassy of Belgium in the Chinese Hall of residence
on the afternoon of October 30, 2016. SDL paid 4 million 150 thousand euros for
to bring a 100% stake in the company and it became the controlling shareholder.
The
cooperation among the enterprises in this regard has received the great
attention of our government. On the occasion of the Belgian Prime Minister's
visit to China, at the invitation of the Chinese government, Eric Streel,
General Manager of Belgium Orthodyne, took part in the signing of bilateral
cooperation documents ceremony in the Great Hall of the People.
This
action of SDL conforms to the requirements of the National 13th Five-Year plan.
SDL holding Orthodyne will further improve the monitoring technology, analysis
instruments and equipment industry research and applied to the field of
environmental protection in China's high-end chromatography to meet the market
demand of China's environmental monitoring.
At the
same time, both companies will promote global environmental monitoring
technologies in areas such as technological research and development and
business promotion by complementing each other's strengths and managing them in
a unified way in the international market to jointly expand industrial gases,
environmental monitoring, laboratory testing, food testing, drug testing, and
industrialization processes.
